PRIVATE GUIDED WALKS IN THE YORKSHIRE DALES and Lake District
Our guided walks are a great way to get the most out of your time in the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales. Your qualified, knowledgeable guide will share our favourite spots with you and allow you to discover more about the landscape, history and stories of the area.
Having a guide for your walk is also a great option if you want to push yourself to try something new, want support on a challenge or just don’t like being in charge of the map!

Small group social walks in the yorkshire dales and Lake District
Our small group guided walks give you the chance to explore new areas, enjoy the fresh air and stunning scenery, learn more about the Dales and Lakes, and meet new people, all without needing to read a map or follow instructions!
We offer a range of routes through the year, of different lengths and in different locations throughout the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District so there should be something for everyone!

introduction to navigation courses
Whether you’re a complete beginner or want to expand on your skills, our ‘Contours and Compasses’ navigation days aim to equip you with the knowledge and information you need to explore the British countryside with confidence.
Taking place in either the Yorkshire Dales of the Lake District, our navigation days are a ‘hands on’ experience - after a brief introductory chat in a local cafe, we head straight outside to practice your navigation, get to know the landscape and have a great day out!
By the end of the day, you will have new map reading and navigation skills and be ready to put them into practice on your own adventures.
